AdBlue

Use

AdBlue is an environmentally friendy reduction agent – basically an urea solution with exceptionally high purity – which reduces the nitrogen oxide in exhausts from heavy vehicles. Besides of reducing nitrogen oxide, AdBlue removes a great amount of particles from the exhausts while simultaneously lowering the fuel consumtion. EURO 4 is the new exhaust standard for the European Union and demands that all new vehicles equipped with catalytic converters uses AdBlue. Not long after that -- in 2009 -- the successor EURO 5 will be introduced with even stronger guidelines.

AdBlue is a transparent fluid without odour.
